COMMUNITY DONATION REQUEST GUIDELINES

Cornwall Centre is proud to be a strong community partner.  We work hard to give back through a variety of efforts and partnerships throughout the year. While Cornwall Centre would like to support every request, it is simply not possible. Each year, we receive hundreds of requests for donations. Therefore, we ask for your understanding if your donation is declined.  If you have not heard from us within seven days of your event date then your request has not been accepted.

Cornwall Centre will not fulfill requests for monetary donations and will not solicit Mall tenants for donations on behalf of a group or organization.

Due to the large volume of requests received by Cornwall Centre, requests must be received a minimum of six weeks in advance. All requests must be submitted in writing. Telephone requests will not be accepted or considered.

The following must be included in your request:

• All contact information (mailing address, email address, and telephone number)
• Registered charitable number
• Details of the request and purpose
• Date of activity or event
• Brief description of activity, location, target audience and expected attendance
• Recognition to be provided to Cornwall Centre
• Other information you think may be helpful

Requests that do not meet Cornwall Centre’s requirements:

• Third party or employee fundraising campaigns
• Fundraiser programs for specific individuals
• Travel for individual or groups
• Donations to groups operating outside of Saskatchewan
• Social functions and events (ie weddings, birthday parties)
• Sports teams or leagues
• Business endeavors
• Religious or political groups
